2nd Battalion 113th Infantry Distinctive Unit Insignia    ABOUT THE RACE In 2008, the 50th Infantry Brigade Combat Team deployed to Iraq in support of the Global War on Terror.  The 2nd Battalion 113th Infantry, augmented by Company F, 250th Brigade Support Battalion, is made up of brave, patriotic, and dedicated soldiers from all over New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. The Family Readiness Group has been devoted and steadfast in supporting the deployed soldiers and their families who wait anxiously for them to return.  The goal of the race is to increase awareness, raise funds to maintain a viable support system for the families, and ensure that they receive a proper and fitting homecoming in the summer of 2009.
